Industries

  • Industries

  • Daedeok Innopolis is home to a cluster of firms that represent a cross section of cutting edge industries, including information technology, biotechnology and nanotechnology.
Every day we further collaboration among these sectors, as the lines between industries continue to blur, spurring high-tech development.

Daedeok Innopolis includes representatives of top-tier venture and research firms from diverse fields. Most of them have a proven track record in the commercialization of DRAM and SRAM chips, LCD modules, cellular phone technology and wireless broadband technologies.
Sixteen companies at Daedeok Innopolis have already been listed on KOSDAQ, and more are preparing to go public in the future.
Our business support center offers all investors support for marketing and public relations as well as financial incentives and an ombudsman to service for trouble shooting issues. A total of 898 high-tech companies are currently on site, but with interest now rapidly expanding, we expect to have 1,200 high-tech resident companies by 2010, and 2,500 by 2015.
This objective is fully supported by a presidential decree focusing on balanced regional development.
