KRIBB held a Cultural Experience Program for its foreign researchers from May 20 to May 21. A total of 25 foreign researchers and their family members participated in the program to visit Korea’s historical Buddhist sites from the Silla Dynasty such as Bulguksa Temple and An Ahp Ji lake, and Yang Dong Village, one of UNESCO-listed World Heritage Sites. The participants had great time learning more about Korean culture and enjoying activities with their fellow researchers from other countries.

In an effort to support its foreign researchers and develop friendly relationships, KRIBB currently runs a variety of support programs such as cultural experience programs, information sessions and handbook publication. At present, a total of about 40 researchers from foreign countries such as China, India and Russia are working for KRIBB’s research projects in their capacity as post-doc researchers and master's or doctoral students.
